Ali Mahlodji was born in 1981 in Tehran. He came to Austria as a refugee child at the age of two. He left school at 18, and today? Today he is a successful and award-winning founder of the start-up company whatchado, a handbook for life stories.

Ali Mahlodji is the founder of the video storytelling platform whatchado. In 2012, out of a childhood idea, he founded the Handbook of Life Stories, which captured thousands of life stories from over 100 nations. Today it is a source of inspiration for millions of people. To this end, Ali Mahlodji was appointed by the European Union in 2013 as a lifetime youth ambassador.
But until this came about he worked in more than 40 different jobs. From cleaning man, construction worker and pharmacy helper to management consultant. Finally, he realized his dream whatchado and developed it into an international company.
He advises companies and executives on innovation and leadership transformations in the digital age and since 2013 also the European Union regarding youth and the job market. Since 2015 also on the topic of communication in relation to the external representation of the EU.
His own story is said to be an inspiration for many young adults who are facing groundbreaking decisions today. At the same time he shows companies what managers can learn from children.
